Program Details
This unique experience offers a guided behind the scenes tour of our lion nightyard. During this walking tour you will learn what the Akron Zoo does for the care and well-being of our lions. Guests will also hear amazing success stories of our conservation efforts both locally and worldwide!
The tour lasts approximately 15-20 minutes and a maximum of 15 guests can attend (2 years and under are free). Behind-the-scenes tours can be purchased in advance or the day of. Admission is not included in this tour.
The starting location for the tour is across from BOMA in our Pride of Africa area. Please arrive 10 minues prior to your tour. Footwear is required.
