An Akron Zoo membership puts the world at your fingertips! With a membership, you can get up close to more than 1,000 animals and enjoy membership benefits, such as unlimited admission, a 10% discount in the gift shop, discounts to special events and more!

When you purchase a gift certificate, you’ll receive the certificate to give to the recipient, who has one year to activate their membership.  Only the printed gift certificate, which will be emailed to you in 7-10 business days, can be accepted to activate the membership.  Please do not provide the recipient with any order barcodes or purchase receipts in lieu of the certificate.

For all gift certificates purchased online or by phone, please allow 7 - 10 business days for processing. 

Akron Zoo Membership Levels

Individual – One named adult

Companion –  One named adult + 2nd named adult OR 1 unnamed guest

Companion Plus – One named adult + up to 2 additional named adults OR 2 unnamed guests

Family –  Two named adults and dependent children or any grandchildren under age 18 

Family Plus –  Family level + 3rd named adult OR 1 unnamed guest

Family Deluxe – Family level + up to 2 additional named adults OR 2 unnamed guests

Membership gift certificates will be emailed in the form of a downloadable pdf to print and present to your intended gift recipient. The gift certificate will not be automatically issued by the point of sales system and must be manually created by staff. Your patience is appreciated.

During the check out process, please provide only the information for the gift purchaser.  Gift recipient information will be collected when the gift certificate is turned in for activation.
